today, my mak want to iftar with sate. so i went and place and order say i'll be back (not in terminator-ish way). i went to the bank n realised that uncle cendol is closing but not yet. so i tanye 'abc ade lagi x?' uncle said 'ad' i order not one but two abc-s hahaha... while bungkus-ing my order he asked me 'hari ni x keje?(he knows im working?stalker ah?) hahaha he actually notice walk in front of his stall every day and i tegur him.
that uncle cendol already knows me because every time i pass by his his stall, i will buy his cendol. back from school days. i went to school by public bus and on my way home i'll buy his 'cendol kacang n jagung kurang manis' and he'll complain 'muda lagi xpe mkn manis.CHOIIIII...hahahaha and sometimes i eat there either alone or with my mak or abg or sumtime with my frens. lets just say that uncle cendol already know my family. thats what i love about kajang, the area is developing fast but if u in the corners u'll see the unique part of kajang. the shopkeepers know u, ur family...kinda like small town that you see on tv. hahaha
like there's this kedai near bus stop, the shop where my mak by biskut gula or something else, that shop is still managed by the same uncle for ages!!! i still remmeber my mak will buy me biskut gula back when i was in tadika n that kedai is still there, with the same uncle and ambience!!!!and my mak still when to the same saloon for the past 20 years where the shop is passed to 2nd generation and 3rd generation is coming in fast...my mak still when to the same bicycle shop to repair her bike , its where i got my first basikal warne merah hahahaha
after all this years the old part of kajang was still there lurking just around the corner of development.
i wonder what will happen these shops is closed to make way for development???then where can i get cendol blakang tokong???
